Legal Information for Pre-employment Background Checks: To maintain FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act) and State compliance, we verify all criminal charges with the official court of record; this ensures every record received from us is fully vetted. FCRA is applicable regardless of whether or not a credit report is included in the background check. In addition, state laws impose their own restrictions on employment and pre-employment background checks. We are in full compliance with APNA’s and INA’s Recommended Practices for Background Screening.
